Use this skill after the image fidelity audit. It translates failed checks into platform-specific repair tasks and a clear manual approval gate.

Input and output

• - Input: ai_product_image_audit.json and a redacted platform profile with dimensions, text, watermark, subject, rights, and disclosure requirements.
• Output: ai_product_image_publish_gate.json with asset status, flags, evidence, and manual_publish_allowed=false until a human confirms the source facts.

Procedure

1. 1. Run the companion audit on a redacted image manifest.
2. Run python scripts/build_product_image_publish_gate.py --audit audit.json --output publish_gate.json.
3. A human checks the source image, product page, rights, disclosure, price, stock, and live platform rules before using any image.

Boundaries and recovery

This skill does not edit pixels, remove watermarks, upload files, change product listings, or claim legal clearance. Unknown fields become HUMAN_REVIEW; malformed JSON exits non-zero.

Acceptance

A clean asset produces MANUAL_APPROVAL_REQUIRED with no blocker flags; a failed asset produces HOLD_REPAIR_REVIEW. Output must show external_publish_executed=false.
