Knowledge Release Gate

Scenario

Use after inventory, diff, and freshness checks when a team needs a repeatable decision packet before rebuilding or exposing a knowledge release.

Input and output

Input contains the three upstream reports plus owner, rollback_ref, and approval. Output is READY_FOR_HUMAN_KB_RELEASE or BLOCKED, with review items and release_hash.

Execution and recovery

Run python scripts/gate.py examples/input.json. Missing approval, rollback reference, stale sources, or changed sources return a visible block. Resolve the named review items and rerun; this script never publishes or activates an index.

Privacy boundary and acceptance

Use report metadata and redacted references only. The sample must produce a human-review-ready packet with a stable hash, while a missing approval sample must be blocked.
