Promotion Duty Roster

Use this skill when a store team needs a pre-event coverage draft for customer service, fulfillment, and operations monitoring.

Prerequisites

• - Python 3.9 or newer
• Authorized, redacted staffing data using internal references instead of names or contact details
• A campaign window, timezone, slot length, role minimums, and approver reference

Inputs and outputs

Input is JSON matching examples/input.json. Output is a JSON roster with time slots, role assignments, coverage gaps, and human approval flags.

Procedure

1. 1. Copy the input and remove personal data.
2. Run python scripts/build_duty_roster.py INPUT OUTPUT.
3. Review gaps, rest periods, local labor rules, substitutes, and the approver reference before using the result.

Recovery and acceptance

Missing fields must produce HOLD_MISSING_DATA. A complete sample must produce slots, at least one deliberate coverage gap, human_approval_required=true, and external_action_executed=false.
